17 New Creative Entrepreneurs Join the GYK Fam

Despite 2020 being 2020, it’s been an exciting year for us. Not just because we were crowned the “Coolest Company for Young Professionals in New Hampshire” or the fact that despite being remote, our culture is stronger than ever, but because we’re set to have the most successful year in our 45-year history. That growth stems largely in part to a number of new clients added to our roster in the past year, and of course, with new clients comes new team members … 25 new creative entrepreneurs, to be exact! These creative entrepreneurs are people with a unique combination of creativity and adaptability who bring a little something extra to the table, whether it be past experiences, passions or side projects. As 2020 comes to a close, we’re thrilled to introduce the 17 creative entrepreneurs that joined GYK since May, who come to us with experience at leading agencies and brands.

So, without further ado, let’s meet the newest members of our squad.

As a company rooted in the belief that creativity is the ultimate business advantage, our creative department, of course, continues to grow, adding four new team members, covering both copy and design. Madaline Goodnuff and Avery Donahoe are our newest art directors — Maddie was previously at Bauer Hockey and Avery comes aboard from MullenLowe. Matthew Langen joins as a senior designer, coming from clothing and specialty product brand Zumiez, where he designed engaging digital assets and improved the website’s user experience. Harmony Taggart joins as a junior copywriter.

To grow GYK’s strategy practice in partnership with director Mike Giovinelli, David Bohl was brought on as a senior strategist. David comes to us with over seven years of strategic marketing experience, most recently from the Zozimus Agency and prior to that, Brigade. Upon joining the team, he quickly jumped into several of our clients and has participated in multiple winning new business pitches. Additionally, Meghan Michalski joins the growing team as an associate strategist.

Nicolle Fagan joined the company as a group account director to lead account services across a number of new clients and oversee the growing department. She has a wide-range of experiences under her belt, from leading campaigns for Jack Daniel’s at Arnold Worldwide — including the longest continuously running ad campaign in history — to spending two years in the Republic of Palau where she co-founded the Palau Pledge — a groundbreaking environmental initiative which won many industry leading awards, including several Cannes Lions — to her most recent gig as the marketing director at the New England Aquarium. She’s excited to be back on the creative side and is passionate about leading our teams to smartly interpret our clients’ needs, find alignment and get the best result to evolve and grow our clients’ brands. Haleigh Kelleher came on as an account executive, and Hayden Stills and Anna Diffley joined us as account coordinators. McKensie Saldo has also joined the team as an account supervisor, in a dual role where she’ll lead both client and new business projects.

Leading the new business efforts and prospecting strategy, Erin Regan was named chief growth officer in the fall. Prior to joining us, Erin was a business development consultant and spent five years at Arnold Worldwide as VP, director of business development, leading teams in Boston and New York.

The media department has grown too, welcoming two new team members over the past few months. Colin Trainor joined as a senior SEM specialist with experience on both the agency and client sides in all aspects of digital marketing with a high focus on paid search. Molly Tobin also joined the team as a media coordinator.

Other arms of the company have grown as well — Cheri Vanderpool joined as a senior project manager to keep client projects moving and organized. Rachael Charewicz joined as a junior web developer and Tara Paladino joined as an accounts payable assistant.

We’re beyond thrilled to have these vibrant, talented new additions to our GYK fam!
