By
the end of 2019, we had added two new faces to our leadership team — Mark
Battista as Managing Director and Pam Hamlin as President — and it didn’t take
long for these two energetic, motivated individuals to begin driving momentum,
which resulted in strategic growth for the agency. With a few new wins under
our belt, including Wahlburgers in February, it was time to
add even more creative entrepreneurs to our roster. So as Q1 comes to a close, we are excited to share
that GYK Antler has grown its employee base by nearly 10 percent in just three
months. Of course, we are thrilled to see the number of employees growing, but
as an organization rooted in heritage, we prefer to think of these new hires as
an addition to our family.
Now,
let’s go ahead and meet everyone:
To
strengthen our in-house marketing and communications efforts, Ginger Ludwig
was brought on as Head of Marketing & Communications and will strategically
lead the department to improve awareness of the agency and purposefully drive
internal communications. Ginger joins the team with nearly 15 years of
experience counseling C-suite communications, driving content marketing and
lead generation programs and leading cross-functional teams in PR, content and
digital initiatives. Most recently, she was at Racepoint Global and prior to
that had spent time at Arnold Worldwide. The marcomm team also added Designer Caitlin
Gill, who will be responsible for building out and defining the agency’s
new business and branding function.
To
account for the new work coming down the pipeline, Kristina Burke joined
the team as an Account Supervisor and will strategically lead account relations
for YORK Athletics, Ken’s Foodservice, Staples and Keolis. Kristina comes from
Hill Holliday, where she ran point for the Bank of America and Planet Fitness
accounts for over five years. Marissa Urbanek will support the
account team as an Account Coordinator. Sylvain
Lucarelli also joined the team as our
newest Integrated Producer and will play an integral role in producing our
broadcast and video spots. Sylvain comes to us having extensive experience in
broadcast video for web, photo, radio and award-winning independent short films
for clients (big and small) across the globe. Allyson
Misiag has also joined the team as a Project Management Coordinator.
The
creative department has expanded threefold. Cristin Barth joined the
team as a Creative Strategy Director — a unique hybrid of strategy and creative
— and she will focus on identifying the intersection of consumer-led,
culture-led and brand-led insights and executing on creative that meets both
consumer desires and business objectives. A passionate and forever curious
marketer, Cristin will arm clients with smart insights on topics, trends and
best practices that are both current and upcoming. John Mathieu joins us
as our fourth Creative Director. With nearly a decade in the industry, John has
been a creative force at Goodby, Arnold and most recently Allen & Gerritsen,
and has worked on campaigns for clients such as New Balance, Nest and Jack
Daniels. Steve Friedman has also joined the team as a Copywriter.
Other arms of the company are growing as well — Heather Schwartz is our newest Administrative Assistant and we are actively seeking two new roles in our IT and development team — IT Specialist and Junior Web Developer.
Welcome to the team, everyone. We are beyond thrilled to have you here!
Now let’s put faces to the names:
